Our customer in the field of health care
Ophardt Hygiene is a family-run group of companies. For more than 50 years, our customer has been successfully developing and producing donor systems for sustainable hand hygiene – closely oriented to the needs of our own business partners and end customers.
In 1967, Hermann Ophardt – a tireless perfectionist – built the first Ingo-Man® hygiene dispenser in his workshop near Issum, Germany. At the time, the Ingo-Man® was considered the only disinfectant dispenser who was able to reliably dose alcohol-based preparations and quickly established itself as the No. 1 donor system in the hospitals in the German-speaking world and ultimately led to the identity of being an innovative company quickly becoming hygiene market spread.
Today, branded products can be found at customers in medical facilities and public washrooms around the world. The numerous patented technologies and their design are found in the products of large global companies in the hygiene industry and are always opening up new areas.

The challenge
Order to Cash and Master Data
As part of the expansion of our own global sales, our customer introduces a uniform central cloud-based CRM system (ZoHo). In order to be able to map continuous sales processes in the entire company, the CRM system must be seamlessly connected to the on-prem ERP systems already in the company.
System integration focuses on the two most important processes for an innovative and digital company:
- Master data synchronization: This is to avoid the double entry and double maintenance of the master data such as address, contact person, product description, etc. in the different systems. Data should only be recorded or maintained at one point and then distributed to all systems.
- Order to Cash: The digitization of this process is intended to simplify the cooperation of global sales with the production facilities by automatically exchanging movement data such as orders, production orders or invoices between the systems.
The project and operating costs as well as the lightweight of the solution were an important focus in the realization and integration of the processes.
The solution
Integration of systems Zoho CRM and Applus ERP
Following the customer requirements, we have developed a solution to set up a modern hybrid, message-based integration solution / middleware. This includes the use of Microsoft Azure standard technologies for on-prem and cloud-based integration scenarios and is supplemented by our Smart Connect integration framework. We rely on an understandable, lightweight and scalable Azure ESB architecture, which enables us to realize customer ideas quickly and cost-effectively.
The advantages
Implementation of our solution based on Microsoft Azure and Smart Connect
