The Buhck Group is active in the waste disposal and recycling business areas, pipe and sewer service and consulting services. Its 32 companies are spread over sixteen locations in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony. The headquarters are in Wentorf near Hamburg. With around 950 employees, it generated sales of around 130 million euros in 2018. The brothers Dr. Henner and Thomas Buhck are in charge of the fourth-generation family business, founded in Hamburg-Bergedorf in 1899.

As part of our own digitization strategy, our customer wants to optimize and automate individual IT processes, in which employees are still very strongly involved today. As a result, the processes should not only be made more effective and robust against errors, but also the employees to be released from the monotonous and recurring tasks.

Following the customer requirements, we have developed a solution proposal to build a professional RPA-UiPath environment for process automation. We implemented the construction of the UiPath environment and the realization of the first robots in the area of invoice receipt and personnel management in a few days. As a result, we prepared and successfully carried out the training of the internal automation team. Through the automation team, the customer wants to be able to make minor changes to the existing robots and future developments on their own responsibility.
