SAP Integration Consultant (m/f/d) – SAP Integration Suite & BTP | Remote First
To strengthen our team, we’re looking for you – a motivated SAP Integration Consultant (m/f/d) with a passion for integration architecture, APIs and cloud technologies. If you enjoy taking on responsibility and have a real understanding of technology: welcome to the team!
You’ll develop modern integration solutions based on the SAP Integration Suite and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and take on technical project responsibility – from architecture through to implementation. In doing so, you’ll combine technical expertise, consultancy and teamwork. We work remotely, independently and directly with our clients.
your tasks
- Conception and implementation of modern integration scenarios with the SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh)
- Development, expansion and optimization of iFlows
- API design (rest / OData) including security concepts
- Technical responsibility in projects including cost estimate & customer communication
- Advice on architecture, integration strategy and technology use
- Monitoring, error analysis and performance optimization of existing integration solutions
- Creation of technical documentation and structured handovers to support or operation
- Further development of existing integration architectures
- Close cooperation with customer teams (German/English) and colleagues to coordinate requirements and solution designs
- Focus on clean architecture, maintainability and scalability
Your technical skills
- In-depth experience with the SAP Integration Suite
- Very good understanding of integration patterns (API-First, Event-Driven, EAI)
- Experience with REST, ODATA, XML/JSON
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML or similar)
- Understanding the SAP BTP architecture - or motivation to familiarize yourself with yourself
- Ideally developmental knowledge (e.g. Java, Node.js or CAP)

- You can explain complex technical relationships in a way that is understandable – even non-developers
- You work on your own, but don't lose sight of the team
- You are solution-oriented and want to design, not just configure
- You are comfortable with taking on technical responsibility in customer discussions

- Development of modern interfaces & integrations with .NET / C#
- Technical responsibility in projects including cost estimate & customer communication
- Advice from customers on architecture, technology deployment and implementation
- Implementation and connection of various end systems
- Creation of technical documentation and handovers to support or operation
- Development and further development of existing integration solutions
- Responsibility for code quality, testability and scalability of your solutions
- Close cooperation with customer teams (German/English) and Kolleg: Interior to coordinate requirements and solution designs
- Focus on Clean Code, Reusability & Maintainability
- Documentation and knowledge transfer in a team – because good solutions also have to be explained
Your technical skills
- Very good knowledge of .NET (C#) and object-oriented development
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL and common integration patterns
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure & modern cloud technology - or motivation to familiarize yourself
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and structured code design
